Privacy policy
Effective date: 11 July 2026
Ninety Night is designed so that your sleep-calculator choices stay on your iPhone. The app does not require an account, operate a sleep-data backend, or use HealthKit.
Information that stays on your device
Ninety Night stores calculator settings, your fall-asleep estimate, snooze preference, onboarding choices, and at most one active alarm plan in local app storage. The active plan is used to display and reconcile the alarm you chose. Completed and cancelled plans are deleted; the app does not keep a sleep history.
Apple services
When you choose an alarm, Apple AlarmKit receives the schedule, the app’s fixed alarm label, and the snooze configuration needed to provide the system alarm experience. Apple StoreKit handles the optional Remove Ads purchase. Apple’s own privacy policy and terms apply to those services.
Optional analytics
After the welcome disclosure, Ninety Night can send aggregate, allow-listed product events through TelemetryDeck. These events can indicate whether onboarding, a calculation, an alarm permission or scheduling step, a purchase step, consent, or an ad load completed.
Analytics events do not include sleep times, dates, cycle choices, your fall-asleep estimate, alarm identifiers, labels, sounds, snooze settings, free text, or raw errors. You can turn analytics off in Settings.
Limited advertising
The free version may show one limited banner ad. Google’s User Messaging Platform manages regional privacy choices. The app requests limited-ad treatment, disables the publisher first-party identifier and ad personalisation, does not request Apple tracking permission, and never adds your sleep choices to an ad request.
Ad delivery may still process network and device information, such as an IP address and consent signals, under Google’s policies and the configuration of enabled advertising partners. Review the advertising privacy choices in Settings when they are available.
Support requests
Support is handled through public GitHub issues. If you choose to open one, the information you submit is visible to GitHub and other visitors. Do not include personal sleep or health information, payment-card details, screenshots containing sensitive information, or private identifiers.
Sharing, retention, and deletion
We do not sell your sleep choices or share them with advertising or analytics providers. Limited operational data may be retained by Apple, Google, TelemetryDeck, GitHub, or other service providers under their own policies when you use those services. Deleting Ninety Night removes its local app data according to iOS behaviour. You can also revoke Alarm access, change advertising privacy choices, disable analytics, or purchase Remove Ads.
Diagnostics
Ninety Night uses privacy-redacted system logging and Apple’s standard development and App Store diagnostics. It does not include a separate third-party crash-reporting service.
Children
Ninety Night is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the new version will be published at this URL.
